The Flavor Group ∆(6n 2 )

چکیده
Many non-Abelian finite subgroups of SU(3) have been used to explain the flavor structure of the Standard Model. In order to systematize and classify successful models, a detailed knowledge of their mathematical structure is necessary. In this paper we shall therefore look closely at the series of finite non-Abelian groups known as ∆(6n), its smallest members being S3 (n = 1) and S4 (n = 2). For arbitrary n, we determine the conjugacy classes, the irreducible representations, the Kronecker products as well as the Clebsch-Gordan coefficients. The remoteness of the permutation code of the group $U_{6n}$
Recently, a new parameter of a code, referred to as the remoteness, has been introduced. This parameter can be viewed as a dual to the covering radius. It is exactly determined for the cyclic and dihedral groups. In this paper, we consider the group $U_{6n}$ as a subgroup of $S_{2n+3}$ and obtain its remoteness. We show that the remoteness of the permutation code $U_{6n}$ is $2n+2$. Moreover, ...

The present case-control study explored the interaction between marine-derived n-3 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (n-3 LC PUFAs) and uric acid (UA) on glucose metabolism and risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Two hundred and eleven healthy subjects in control group and 268 T2DM subjects in case group were included. Plasma phospholipid (PL) fatty acids and biochemical parameters we...
متن کاملThe emerging role of group VI calcium-independent phospholipase A2 in releasing docosahexaenoic acid from brain phospholipids.
Brain phospholipids are highly enriched in docosahexaenoic acid (DHA; 22:6n-3). Recent advances indicate that 22:6n-3 is released from brain phospholipids via the action of phospholipase A2 (PLA2) in response to several stimuli, including neurotransmission, where it then acts as a secondary messenger. Furthermore, it is now known that released 22:6n-3 is a substrate for several oxygenation enzy...
متن کاملArtificial rearing with docosahexaenoic acid and n-6 docosapentaenoic acid alters rat tissue fatty acid composition.
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA; 22:6n-3) and n-6 docosapentaenoic acid (DPAn-6; 22:5n-6) are components of enriched animal feed and oil derived from Schizochytrium species microalgae. A one generation, artificial rearing model from day 2 after birth onward (AR) and a dam-reared control group (DAM) were used to examine DPAn-6 feeding on the fatty acid composition of various rat tissues at 15 weeks of...
